  1. WHO CAN JOIN THE PILLOWPOINTS MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM?

    The pillowPOINTS Membership program is open to any individual, corporation or club/society in Australia.

  2. HOW CAN I JOIN THE PILLOWPOINTS MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM?

    There are 2 ways to become a member of pillowPOINTS :

    • a) By filling in and submitting the pillowPOINTS Membership Application form, You will WHEN CAN I START TO USE MY PILLOWreceive membership details and will be able to login, update and view your membership details.

    • Or

    • b) By making at least ONE confirmed reservation through an AOT website. Once the reservation is confirmed, we will link you through to the membership system for you to be able to join as a member immediately.

  3. DOES IT COST ANYTHING TO BECOME A PILLOWPOINTS MEMBER?

    There is no joining or subscription fees, pillowPOINTS membership is totally FREE!

  4. HOW DO I EARN POINTS?

    Each time you visit our partner sites and make a confirmed booking as a member for AUSTRALIAN OR NEW ZEALAND hotels or other travel services except for flights, you will earn pillowPOINTS. A percentage of the gross booking value will be attributed to earning pillowPOINTS which can be converted into member dollars to enable you to redeem on your next booking.
    Note: pillowPOINTS can not be earned on any property booked outside Australia and New Zealand.


  5. WHEN CAN I START TO USE MY PILLOWPOINTS?

    You can start using your pillowPOINTS to pay for all or part of your future bookings with any of our website as mentioned previously as soon as you have reached 5,000 pillowPOINTS in your Current Account Balance.

  6. DO I GET MORE OR LESS PILLOWPOINTS DEPENDING ON THE PARTNER WEBSITE??

    Yes… different partners provide different level of points reward. pillowPOINTS.

  7. WHAT IS THE CURRENT ACCOUNT BALANCE?

    Your Current Account Balance provides the actual amount of pillowPOINTS you have earned and are available to REDEEM to reduce the amount of your future bookings or redeemed for free hotel stays (if applicable).

  8. WHAT IS THE PENDING ACCOUNT BALANCE?

    Your Pending Account Balance provides an estimated amount of pillowPOINTS you have accrued each time a booking is confirmed. The pillowPOINTS amount for each booking is finalised 14 DAYS AFTER THE CHECK-OUT DATE of that booking, after which the amount is transferred into the Current Account Balance .

  9. HOW DO I REDEEM MY PILLOWPOINTS?

    When making a booking, you are given the option to login to your account and obtain your pillowPOINTS information via each of our partner websites. If your Current Account Balance has a minimum of 5,000 pillowPOINTS, you will have the option to use your pillowPOINTS to pay for part or all of the booking. If you choose to use your pillowPOINTS, the system will convert your pillowPOINTS into the currency used in your booking, using the daily Australian Dollar (AUD) exchange rate (as designated by pillowPOINTS) and subtract that amount from the total value of your booking. If you choose not to use your pillowPOINTS, they will be rolled over until next time you make a booking.

  10. DO I NEED TO LOGIN TO PILLOWPOINTS WHEN MAKING A BOOKING?

    No… providing the email address used in the booking is the same as one of the email address’ in your pillowPOINTS profile, pillowPOINTS will credit your account with this booking. You will only need to login if you wish to redeem some points against a new booking.

  11. HOW DO I GET TO THE NEXT PILLOWPOINTS STATUS OF GOLD AND PLATINUM?

    To move up to the GOLD status you will need to achieve 50,000 pillowPOINTS. To move up to the Platinum status you will need to achieve 100,000 pillowPOINTS. Click here to view each Membership Level.

  12. WILL MY PILLOWPOINTS EXPIRE?

    pillowPOINTS will expire if the Member Account is inactive for 24 months. A Member Account is considered inactive if no booking was made through the Member Account for the duration of 24 months.

  13. WHEN ARE MY POINTS ALLOCATED TO MY PILLOWPOINTS ACCOUNT?

    As soon as you make a booking your estimated points are allocated to your pending points balance. The pillowPOINTS amount for each booking is finalised 14 DAYS AFTER THE CHECK-OUT DATE of that booking, after which the amount is transferred into the Current Account Balance.

  14. HOW CAN I CHANGE MY EMAIL ADDRESS?

    To change your email address, click on “My Profile”. You can overtype your email address to the one you wish to update to. You must select “Save” at the bottom of this screen for the address to be updated. This is effective immediately. You are also able to change your password here.

  15. WHICH WEBSITES CAN I ACCRUE PILLOWPOINTS ON?

    By making a booking on anyone of our partnered sites: www.needitnow.com.au, www.needtoescape.com.au, www.travelmate.com.au, www.travelpointholidays.com.au, www.nswholidays.com.au or www.sunloverholidays.com.au you will accrue pillowPOINTS. These sites provide different levels of reward points.
